ABOUT GLOSSOP TUTORING
Jo is a qualified teacher and tutor based in Glossop, Derbyshire. She has taught in many primary and secondary schools in the area. She is an experienced SENCO and has a wealth of knowledge from working in special schools and through delivering interventions face to face and online. She has also marked SATs for several years. She is fully DBS checked. She is training to be an educational psychologist and is extremely skilled at identifying any additional needs your child may have and if required will help you get a diagnosis for your child.

Her vision for Glossop Tutoring is to provide high-quality, individualised learning at competitive prices based on the belief that all children can achieve and make progress. She creates bespoke, highly individualised learning plans to cater to each child's specific needs. She is particularly skilled at engaging reluctant learners by creating work based on their interests.

Jo believes that with the right teaching approach, all children can make progress in Maths, including those with dyscalculia or who have maths anxiety. She will support your child by utilising their strengths to enable them to overcome their difficulties.

Jo provides exceptional tuition catering to your child's specific needs, including additional needs such as dyslexia and autism. She can boost your child's confidence by making learning fun and engaging through personalising their learning. She can help them find their strengths and practice for their Reading and Grammar SATs. Jo has extensive experience of using different techniques to help your child build their literacy skills.
